Orientation Programme on ``Parental Care`` at BOSCO

A workshop on ``Parental Care`` was organized on February 19, 2010 by BOSCO for 24 participants from the surrounding slums around the centre.

On February 19, 2010 - the staff of BOSCO Nilaya had organized an orientation Programme at Bosco Nilaya on ``Parental Care`` for the people of the nearby slums - Jolly Mohalla, Ganesha Jobadi, Kalasipalyam and the surrounding area of K.R. Market .The 24 participants who had attended the programme were the community members of BOSCO Nilaya. The resource person for this programme was Mr.Shivamallu, the Street Presence Coordinator of BOSCO. He had enlightened the 24 participants about BOSCO and its services, Child rights and the role of Parents in protecting their rights. He stressed more on the responsibilities of the parents and upbringing their children. The main intention of the Programme was to motivate the parents to send their children for regular school.
